The Philadelphia 100®, which honors the fastest growing privately held companies in the Greater Philadelphia region, has recognized eSchoolMall™ for the second year in their list of the top 100. This honor is based on verifiable sales volume and year over year growth, marking eSchoolMall as one of the fastest growing and leading providers of online procurement solutions in 2005 and again in 2006.
Founded in 1988 to publicly identify, recognize and promote young successful companies in the Greater Philadelphia region, the 2006 Philadelphia 100 marks the 18th anniversary of this prestigious event. Through a rigorous nomination process, applications are collected by University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Small Business Development Center. The Wharton Small Business Development Center then validates the application to insure that each company meets all criteria. Once all information is validated, the Wharton Small Business Development Center calculates the growth rates and determines the rankings. The initial Philadelphia 100 list is then reviewed by the Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Business Journal.
