Horsham, PA, August 31, 2009, Mercury Commerce Solutions, a market leader in online procurement solutions for commercial, higher education and public sector organizations, today announced Version 9 of its e-Procurement Solutions. New enhancements have been released to both the Sourcing Solutions Suite and the Purchasing Solutions Suite.
Based on direct customer input, Version 9 begins a series of new features that will be released during regular product updates. “Our products have evolved with customer usage and customer input,” said Jeff Mason, Vice President of Product Development for Mercury Commerce. “Version 9 reflects our response to customer feedback that we continually seek through our Customer Care organization.”
In the Sourcing Solutions Suite, Mercury Commerce has completely redesigned the customer’s ability to identify and select vendors to participate in bids, quotes and RFP’s. “Our database of registered vendors has grown significantly,” continued Jeff. “With Version 9, our customers can easily build distribution lists and communicate with their selected vendor community.”
In the Purchasing Solutions Suite, Mercury Commerce has again responded to customer input in the area of purchasing card usage. Customers are adopting P-Card programs as a way to expedite vendor payments and control expenses. Version 9 provides an interface for customers who manage enterprise-wide P-Card programs with centralized P-Card management.
Version 9 includes the use of industry-leading browser technology to enhance the user experience. Like all Mercury Commerce web-based solutions, Version 9 is immediately available to all existing customers with no software to load and no hardware to buy.
